About Us
Two decades building Somalia's infrastructure.
Company overview
A locally-rooted contractor, held to international standards.
Shire Construction Ltd was founded to close the gap between the scale of Somalia’s infrastructure needs and the quality of contractors able to deliver against them. Today we operate across roads, bridges, dams, water systems, buildings and renewable energy.
We employ over 250 staff, more than 90% of them Somali nationals, and maintain an owned equipment fleet of 60+ machines to keep projects moving without third-party delays.

Mission
To build durable infrastructure that empowers communities, drives economic growth, and reflects the highest standards of engineering integrity.
Vision
To become Somalia's leading construction and infrastructure company, recognized regionally for excellence, sustainability and environmental stewardship.
